What's actually in these.
Four materials, each chosen for a reason.

Organic cotton, 80% of the blend
Grown without synthetic pesticides or GMOs, and GOTS-certified from farm to finished sock. That's better for the soil and for the people who grow it. It breathes, softens with every wash, and does most of the work of making these feel good on your feet.

Recycled polyester, 15%
Made from plastic that's already had one life, like bottles and discarded textiles. A grip sock needs structure for the silicone grip to hold its place, and recycled polyester provides it without starting from new plastic.

Bio-elastane, the remaining 5%
A grip sock that doesn't snap back is just a sock with ambitions. Ours uses a bio-based elastane where part of the petroleum is replaced with field corn. Its maker reports about 23% lower carbon emissions and 39% less water use than conventional elastane.

The finishing details
A PVC-free silicone grip, and dyes approved under GOTS.

Who makes them.
Every pair begins in a facility that holds active GOTS certification, which means the organic cotton is tracked from the farm where it's grown to the moment it's knit. Nothing about where it came from, or how it was handled along the way, is left to guesswork.

The team behind that work is women-led. They keep fair hours, earn fair pay, and work in conditions that are safe and respectful. Finding people we trusted mattered to us as much as finding the right cotton.

How it ships.
Every pair ships in a mailer made from 100% recycled plastic. We considered compostable and paper options, but recycled plastic made the most sense: it reuses material that already exists, keeps your socks dry, and can be recycled again wherever soft plastics are accepted.
